Objectives
In recent years, Adecco has faced challenges in attracting young talent to its platforms. To address this, in collaboration with Cerved and Pro Web Consulting, they tasked us with developing an effective solution during a 4-day design challenge.
The key business objectives were to increase registrations of young talent on their channels, offer guidance in navigating the job market, and boost the number of monthly active users.

Focusing on the user
User Research
The first phase of the design project focused on rapid research due to time constraints. We conducted desk research and 4 semi-structured interviews with Gen Z individuals, the target audience. Key insights emerged:
traditional job search platforms don’t meet the needs of younger users with limited work experience
compatibility with a company’s values and culture is essential for Gen Z users
Gen Z values real-life testimonials to understand the company culture
users are discouraged by lengthy registration processes or CV forms
Gen Z prefers platforms with informal, friendly language.
These findings were crucial in creating a personas and shaping the solutions, directly informing the design and implementation decisions.
